Aria Soft Blinds
Dual opacity light control
Aria Soft Blinds is a first of its kind soft blind system developed at Hunter Douglas that combines the aesthetic optionality of drapery with the functionality of a horizontal blind. With both manual and motorized control systems, the product required the integration of compact actuation, cord routing, and lift mechanisms within a tight architectural envelope while maintaining smooth operation across a wide range of sizes.
I led mechanical design efforts across key subsystems, including mechanism architecture, torque management, and manufacturable component design, helping bring the product from concept through production.
